My stay at the hotel was wonderful. The rooms were excellent; clean, with a comfortable bed and a beautiful view of the garden through glass doors. The terrace door leading directly to the lawn was a nice touch, but the bathroom tub and sliding doors were quite gross and broken. The service was a mix; some staff overly unwilling to accommodate us due to misconceptions, while others were very friendly and attentive. The location was perfect, right across the highway from the ocean and ideal for exploring the Pacific Coast Highway. The dining options were not included but the nearby restaurant served great European food. Overall, a good value for money stay.

My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The rooms were very spacious and accommodating with convenient amenities like a microwave, refrigerator, and a small sofa. They were also spotlessly clean. However, parking right by the room was a bit of a hassle.

The hotel's rooms were nice and comfy, but the bathroom tub and sliding doors needed attention. I appreciated the tile and shower tile, though. The service was friendly, with discount cards for nearby restaurants. The location was ideal on the Pacific Coast Highway, but there might be unexpected lawn parties. The dining was a bit pricey, but the crunchy French toast was a hit. Overall, a decent stay with some room for improvement.

The hotel is conveniently located in San Simeon, making it a good stop before tackling the mountain roads to Hearst Castle. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, though a bit small. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the area for recommendations. However, service could have been better as they mistakenly charged my card. Dining options were limited and pricey, but the location right on the beach was a definite plus for a last-minute booking at a reasonable price.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms, despite the smell, were ok with a balcony accessible down the wooden stairs. The service, especially for dinner, was very nice, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. While the location was close to both the Hearst Castle & Cambria with a view of the ocean, the management seemed unable to control certain situations. The dining options, especially in the diner next door, were very expensive, with a bowl of cereal costing $6.

The hotel is ideally situated, just a stone's throw from the beach and minutes away from the Hearst Castle. The rooms were spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated, offering exceptional value for money. However, the service lacked attention to detail and the toiletries provided were of poor quality.
Rooms
8.0
The rooms were much quieter than the ground floor units, and the two-bed setup was exceptionally clean and well decorated.
Service
7.0
While the service was knowledgeable and helpful, there were issues with soap and kleenex not being refilled promptly. The Wi-Fi signal was disappointingly weak.
Location
9.0
The location was amazing, being just 10 minutes from the Hearst Castle and less than 5 minutes from the beach. The immediate proximity to a dog-friendly beach was a definite plus.
Dining
7.0
Although the dining options in the nearby restaurants were fantastic, the prices were notably high. A bowl of cereal costing $6 seemed overpriced.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel facilities, including a fountain and outdoor dining area with tables, were pleasant. However, the pool appeared shabby and in need of attention.
